This site is dedicated to helping you chat, real-time, with other smokers who are trying to quit, or have already quit. Please read this entire page for instructions on how to chat.
You must have a Java-enabled web browser to use this chat service. If you have Netscape 4.0 or higher or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, you should be able to chat without any problems. If you can't chat, you can always read and post messages on the Quit Smoking Company Bulletin Board System.

Once you click the link below to enter the chat room, your browser will load the Java chat room. This may take several seconds. Please be patient!
Important Note: This chat room MAY NOT WORK if you are connected through a proxy server (if you connect to the Internet through an office network, this probably includes you). If you go to the chat page and you don't see a log-in screen after about 60 seconds, you probably won't be able to chat.
Once the chat room loads, you will need to log in. To log in, just enter a User Name. This name must be unique. Just make something up!
Click the "Connect" button, and you will be logged in to the chat room. You may be prompted for a password. This is optional.
If other users are logged in, you will see their user name in the list on the left side of the screen.
To chat, just type your message in the box at the bottom of the chat window, next to the Send button. Press your Enter key and your message will appear in the chat window. All users will be able to see your message.
